Illegal Possession by Kay Hooper (Bantam 1985, reprinted 2008)

I read this b/c it is this month's book for our local book club. I liked it, but once I got to the end and saw the copyright info, some of the style things that had bothered me made sense. There were parts of it that were dated, and not in the technology sense. (Isn't it funny that I didn't notice the lack of cell phones? Not really -- the story really did focus on the relationship.) Anyway, what do I mean by dated? Well, some of the long thoughts that the h had about the relationship I don't find in what I read today. It might be my choices, it might be the genre as a whole. But there were whole paragraphs where I was going, "Oh, just go DO something!" I liked all the characters, though, so not a bad way to spend a couple of hours. NFM

I should...

have guessed when I saw this book pop up for several of you that it was the book club selection!!

Yeah, that was

Yeah, that was a dead giveaway. I would've wanted to read it anyway just because I've read and enjoyed most of her books. I should rephrase that. I've enjoyed all of her books I've read but I know there are some older ones I haven't read yet. It was good to see you tonight, I've missed my book friends since I didn't make last months meeting.
