I was drawn in by this tale of bravery and strength. Indigo is set back in the time when African Americans were still fighting for the right to be free. If you want a tender, yet capitvating story, Indigo is definitely for you. You know, I never thought I would like historical romances, but Mrs. Jenkins has definitely proved me wrong.

LaTessa - I see you have been busy reading Bev J's books. I love her historicals best of all. I was one of her readers who had trouble when she started the contemporary romances. I was afraid it woud be the end of her historicals and no one does historical romance like Beverly Jenkins. Indigo is one of my favorites.
