Infatuation by Alison Kent

This is the third in the "For a Good Time Call..." series.  Alison Kent does a good job reconnecting college lovers Rennie Bergen and Milla Page after 6 years apart.  Rennie and Milla spent 4 years in college hiding their relationship.  Milla had a boyfriend who had been Rennie's roommate which is how they met.  Milla had her reasons for hiding the intense relationship she had with Rennie, but he didn't know exactly what the situation was.  When Milla pulls Rennie's card from the "Booty Call" boot she has an immediate urge to see him and find out if she hurt him all those years ago.  She has been feeling guilty for 6 years for the way they ended and for the other lies she told.  Rennie left town after their graduation and subsequent breakup, but returned 1 year later.  He always had dreams of making a fortune and now his business is a success.  He doesn't know why Milla is there to see him or that her circumstances have changed.  He just knows that something is different and wrong.  Can these two estranged, miscommunicating lovers reconnect and make something lasting out of the passion they feel for each other?  Good story.  Alison Kent is a favorite and this is a good example of why.  I really liked these characters.
