The Italian's Cinderella Bride(June08)

Italian count...English waif

Blurb:

In a flash of lightning, Count Pietro Bagnelli sees a young woman standing outside his palazzo, a battered suitcase at her feet. This solitary count has turned his back on the world, but he can’t turn his back on this bedraggled waif…

Ruth has returned to Venice to uncover lost memories, yet finds comfort with this proudly damaged count. As Carnivale sweeps through the city, drama and passion ignite and secrets unravel…

My thoughts:

This was a enjoyable read. It seemed liked there was a lot that was going to have to be overcome but it all worked out in the end. With the h having slight amnesia and trying to remember her love affair with the H’s cousin and the H with some bad demons he needed to be put to rest it all worked out very well. This was a well written book full of emotions and some touching situations. Its books like this one that made me subscribe to the Romance line in the first place. One of those quick, enjoyable reads that reads like a much thicker book.

People who look down on others are the real freaks of this world.

looking forward to this one,

looking forward to this one, even more so after your blog.
