My thoughts coming: IMHO Beverly Jenkins and historical romance are synonymous. I have learned great things about my history all while reading a steamy romance novel. Imagine that! This book follows Vivid, a book I finally read last year after seeking a copy for years. Eli Grayson is a man who loves woman. He has not always made the right choices when it comes to them. After getting Jewel - a close friend since childhood - to pose as his wife to help him with a business deal, things don’t go as plan and they are forced into marriage. Surprisingly Eli is not as against the idea as Jewel. Eli sets out to seduce and woo his new wife and things are going well until Eli’s past comes back to hunt him.
