Another good book by the author of Just Desserts.
Kate has just returned from a buying trip in Europe tired, jet lagged and anxious to show Professor Armitage some letters she found from the Revolutionary war period. As she searches her dresser for some clean underwear all she finds is a red lace thong that her mother gave her for her birthday. After putting on the thong she decides that they were made for torture. As Kate rushes to her appointment she is feeling a little nauseous and lightheaded. After talking with a friend on her cell she pulls over to grab something at a fast food place in a mall. She whips into a parking place only to discover that there is another car that was aiming for the same spot. As Kate is walking toward to mall she is feeling worse, then suddenly she finds herself laying on the pavement with a man in a Grateful Dead t-shirt hovering over her assuring her it will be okay.
Having a heart attack was an unusual way to meet a handsome man. Kate does not know who the man is and he was not able to find out Kate's name before they took her away in an ambulance. Lucky for her the man knew CPR and literaly saved her life. She really would like to thank him for stopping to help her at the mall. Kate is extremely surprised when she does finally meet him again and finds out that the handsome stranger is an Episcopal priest.
This is a wonderful story of a couple that has a lot of hurdles to overcome to have a relationship. Well written, entertaining, can't put down.

Just Like Heaven
I too really enjoyed this book. I liked it more than Just Desserts. Thought the hero had a very unusual occupation.

The Born Readers
Outside of a dog a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read. Groucho Marx
Enjoyed
I enjoyed the fact that the H was a priest/minister. Years ago I read a book where the Hero was a minister, it makes for an interesting story. In this book the fact that he was a recovering alcholic added even more to the mix. I'd like to read more of her books.
