#21 The cover of this book drew my attention immediately,I was totally fascinated and had to read it right away. Happy to say I wasn't disappointed,it is a very intriguing storyline.

Rae Benton was at her father's funeral in Green Valley when who should walk in but,Hunter Gordon,her father's killer. He had just been released from serving 10 years in Dorchester Penitentiary,and now here he was,the last person who should show his face here.

Even though right before he died,Robert Benton had told his daughter to forgive Hunter and let...Rae would never know what else he wanted to say as he succumbed to his cancer. Hunter did manage to talk to Rae,but was still on edge with him. She was really confused when her dad's lawyer called saying he needed to see both her and Hunter right away. Even more was added to her plate when told she gets all his personal belongings,but the real estate and land were to be shared jointly between herself and Hunter.

Rae discovers many unexpected truths about her dad and Hunter through this adventure,and many are not pleasant,and are difficult for her. Is Hunter to be trusted? Why had her father visited him in prison many times? What else has been hidden from Rae? The answers to these will make it a very good read to anyone .
