I throughly enjoyed this book. First in the Dragonfire novel series, it introduces the reader to the Pyr (good Dragons) and the Slayers (bad Dragons). The Slayers are hell bent on destroying mankind as they see them as a plague on the Earth. The Pyr are charged with keeping the Earth and her treasures, of which they consider mankind an important treasure. In this book, DC focuses on "The Smith and The Seer". And while the reader gets a good background of all the dragons, the underlying romance of Quinn and Sara weave in to make a brilliant read.
