The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid by Bill Bryson

Bill Bryson's hilarious memoir of growing up in middle America in the Fifties - unabridged and read by the author.

This was a laugh-out-loud funny book which made my commute to work really enjoyable.

I loved his voice. My only problem was that the sound recording seemed to deteriorate in places - or maybe he was mumbling - and I missed small chunks. I didn't want to miss any of it because it was so good.
