When Tori took the job at the Rocking C ranch, noboy told her an ornery cowboy came with it. As a former nurse, Tori knew she could help Matt Clayton get back on his feet. The only obstacle was the injured bronc rider himself...
An accident may have ended his rodeo career, but Matt wasn't one to back down from a challenge! Now one boss redhead was about to meet her match! But Tori was hiding something.
Would Tori's secret force her to leave Matt and the feelings he was awakening in her? Or could love work its healing magic on themboth, making this a homecoming neither would forget?
I couldn't put this book down once I got started. I love cowboy books, and Judy Duarte is one of my favorite authors. I thought Ms. Duarte did an excellent job of conveying the emotion of an injured cowboy, not able to continue his rodeo career. Tori was a caring, loving heroine who softened up the rough, tough cowboy. I loved it!

recently got it
I got this one and Romancing the Cowboy. I love cowboy books too. I don't know when I can get to them cause I'm in the middle of painting the apartment now. I took the weekend off but will probably be back at it Monday. I keep glancing at the 2 bookshelves here in the living room and thinking "All these books need to come off"

Oh girl!!!
I understand where you're coming from there. I have been painting around the house and have left the hallway for last....that's where my bookshelf of TBRs are......

actually
most of the TBR books are on the bookcase in the bedroom which I did Tues/Wed. One of the bookcases in the living room has keepers and the other is a mish mash, half keepers, half TBR
