Loyalty in Death - JD Robb

Another audiobook out of the system..... Another good Eve Dallas and Rourke mystery. I really enjoy these books and I really dislike sci fi/futuristic or fantasy stories, so am always suprised by these. Peabody played an especially good role in this one. Now on to the next that is waiting for me.

I'm listening to this series too ...

I love the narrator! .... she's awesome ... never a doubt as to who the characters are .... I love her Rourke!

I'm on the second one ... it's taking me longer to listen to them because I'm doing that at work while I do some data entry .... so I"m missing parts .... with this second one, the beginnig is weird, I"m missing some of the connections ... so I'm really going to have to take an hour to really listen to that part

from the ratings this series has received, I thrilled that I started it .... maybe by the end of the summer (and some sales over at Audible) I'll be caught up

I'm enjoying the futuristic aspect of these ... it's not so off the top and thoroughly fits and makes these unique

I agree with the not over

I agree with the not over the top comment. I picked up the first audio of these when road tripping with my husband. We have very different reading tastes but try to listen to things we can both enjoy and these hit the mark. I am hoping to get through all the rest this summer. I have been using a audiobook rental store so far, but will be hitting up our local library soon too to fill in on some I haven't found. The narrator, Susan Ericksen is fantastic. Of course she is reading really good material too!

Love this series

but I would really love to have some of Roarke's toys.

Oh me too

I like his library though and his sense of old and new. Helps keep the stories from being too futuristic for me. Amazing how they can go off planet and back so quickly!
