A Pendragon Princess, ghosts and a harp playing warrior
Nicole de Leon, a Pendragon princess from Wales, has no choice when it comes to marriage. She is a pawn for those seeking power and peace for Wales as Empress Maud's son and King Stephen are waging war over England's throne. When Rhodri ap Daffyd comes with plans to take her away and deliver her to his liege lord, he encounters more trouble than he ever imagined. She is no longer the little pesk she was as a child but a woman of beauty, intelligence, loyalty and passion. Nicole has q secret gift ---she talks to spirits. Her dead brother William haunts her, torments her, with his lust for vengeance. Nicole is a healer of spirits, but his spirit is one that refuses peace. Rhodri is both warrior and bard. Defiance and duty join and separate Nicole and Rhodri as the two deveop a passion for each other that defies the best laid plans.
Quick blog for now to be edited later ---trying to catch up on reviewing this weekend and still have some time to read too now that my husband is doing better. (no sign yet of the bun infection returning). This was my first read by Shari Anton and it certainly won't be my last! I am glad I have the earlier two books in my TBR. Awesome description of this battle scene and awesome ending... very nicve hero/heroine match and a feeling that these two are meant to be together, not just for themselves, but for what they bring to others. Suspenseful. Magical. Love the Pendragon Princess with its echoes of King Arthur.

This one was great! It was very sweet but not overly sweet--- very balanced. Loved the intrigue. The heroine's ability to talk to spirits was very, very moving and the hero and heroine match was just superb! Very magical. I can't wait to read more by her.
