Christo Veron is all about keeping his family happy. So when his sister’s fiancée comes to him claiming Isabelle Browne is saying she is pregnant with his child, Christo decides to check it out. He needs to find out if his sister’s fiancée is a two timing jerk or if Isabelle is lying. He finds out Isabelle works for a concierge/maid service that caters to wealthy businessmen. On a trip to Australia he hires Isabelle. Everything points to her being pregnant, but is she? Is she lying about who the father could be? What kind of story will he come up with to explain her presence in London? That she’s his mistress? Is it just pretend?
I loved both Christo and Isabelle. Both placed family first. Isabelle didn’t let Christo bow beat her into following his plans. I am looking forward to more involving these characters.
