I read most of The Man Behind the Cop in the aisle today at K-mart. The story was that compelling. I finished it in my car before I went home. Yay for a great book!
Johnson's writing kept the tension high and the conflicts clear. I loved the hero and it's possible I shed a tear or two over the conclusion of one of the subplots. Sigh. Emotion, hot men, good writing. A very nice combo.
