Marrying for King's Millions by Maureen Child

The second in Maureen Child's "Kings of California" series.  This one involves middle brother Travis King and local girl and childhood playmate, Julie O'Hara.  Travis is trying to make a deal with a distributor for King Vineyards to go international, but the eccentric distribution owner has single daughters he wishes to marry off.  Travis needs a wife for a while and Julie wants his money to open a bakery.  This platonic year of marriage should be simple for both of them.  Except when Julie's ex-husband returns and the paparazzi won't leave them alone.  This was a fun story because of all the troubles the new marriage has from the begining.

"It is to the credit of human nature that, except where its selfishness is brought into play, it loves more readily than it hates."
