Maverick Wild

Shoot, I forgot to grab the blurb. So here's the gist. Twin brothers Tucker and Chance have had one night too long in the presence of their step mother--a truly evil cow who really belongs on the list of great evil stepmothers of all time--and they're taking their twelve year old hides to join their father at war. Bad news: They had to leave behind their step sister, Cora Mae and Dad was a confederate.

Twenty years later, the boys have made something of their lives, but it's been a rough road to hoe and so you can imagine their surprise when little Cora Mae shows up on their doorstep out of the blue. And Cora has some truly awful secrets she's trying to keep...

That said, I read this book in one sitting. Excellent cover--thus my interest--and the story was heartfelt and honest. Cora's fears and desires clashing were handled beautifully and well, not to be unhostly but take a look at the hero on the cover. You'd do him.

Throw in a scheming widow, her jealous lover, some very hungry twins and the bruised emotions of a sixteen year old boy and voila...you got yourself a good time! Enjoy!

Yeah I just got my copy two days ago

They should have put some

They should have put some sort of chocolate flavoring on that cover. Took me a whole five minutes to open the thing, lol!

Wow

Thank you, Dee!  I'm so glad you enjoyed MAVERICK WILD Laughing

Love the lickable cover idea!  I didn't think they could improve on the MAVERICK cover--and then my editor sent me the cover for THE GUNSLINGER'S UNTAMED BRIDE....:::sigh:::  Those Harlequin art folks are brilliant  Wink
