#37-Why did Psyche Ryan,widow of Thayer,send for Molly Shields? Molly had an affair with Thayer because she didn't know he was married until she found out she was pregnant. What more could Psyche want as she adopted Lucas,the baby born to Molly?
Molly Shields leaves her huge literary agency in L.A. and arrives in Indian Rock,AZ very unsure what the widow of her former lover wants of her. Upon arrival she discovers Psyche is dying of brain cancer and has no one else to raise Lucas,now 18 months old,and since she has forgiven Molly,she feels it only fair she gets her son back.
Florence Washington,Psyche's housekeeper, lets it be known she doesn't approve the entire situation. She isn't the only one as Molly finds out when Florence takes her to pick up the rest of her luggage,and she is hassled by Keegan McKettrick. Truth be known,Keegan and Psyche grew up together and deep down he has always loved her and will protect her no matter what. Plus he is not handling her illness at all well.
Despite her pain,Psyche gets everything in order by giving Lucas back to Molly to raise,and Keegan is executor to see he is properly cared for. Then she keeps trying to push the 2 together which makes for many interesting times since both are emotionally vulnerable and very stubborn. Keegan is also going through problems with his ex wife and his daughter,Devon.
Molly and Keegan get married to appease Psyche who passes soon after. This was an emotional time and you felt the pain they all suffered at the loss.
I really hated to see these stories end as I felt so close to them all,but have to admit it was a great way to spend alot of my holiday weekend.

DId you have a favorite of the three? It would be hard for me to pick. I loved the enotional effect of the last 2 a bit more than the first altghough the first one was the easiest read.

as to the emotional side. But I really can't pick a favorite,liked all three.
