I bought the paperback for my keepers and also download to my Kindle for easier reading. Susan really knows how to grab you and keep you enthralled till the end. This story is set after the Horde war in her last series Which ended with, "How To Lose An Extraterrestrial in Ten Days". Another great read, can't wait for the next one.
The war is over so Earth, Drakken, and the Coalition become the TRIAD. Admiral Brit Bandar aka Stone-Heart is not ready for peace, she's spent half her life warring with the murdering Drakken. Brit is called back to Captain a new ship, Unity. Either take the ship or she will be in dry dock with her old ship, then she meets her new crew, made up of Drakken, Earthlings, and Coalition soldiers. When she meets her second, Drakken Warleader, Finn Rorkken the battle begins anew. Can't wait for more people to read this one, looking forward to seeing some great reviews soon.

I loved this book
I loved this book and think I like it even more than the last series and I really liked that one. I had more empathy with the characters maybe. I knew Kelley really liked it when she reviewed it. Lucky duck getting it early. Can't wait till you read it Joan.
