A Mother's Wish by Karen Templeton-Silhouette Special Edition-Aug.08
#67-9 years ago,Winnie Porter gave up her son,and now she would like to see him one last time. She goes to stay at the old adobe home on the land where he is living. Little does she know how many opportunities she will have to see Robbie, and the uproar she causes in the life of his adoptive dad, widower,Aidan Black.
This is another great read by this author which holds your interest throughout this adventure. An added treat is the dialogue of Annabelle,Winnie's Border collie, adds to make it more delightful. You won't want to miss the Epilogue, very different and you finish with a laugh or two.

Hi!
I am trying to comment on reviews more. I may have to move this up in my TBR pile if I can find it. How nice of you to post a review while Karen has a blog post currently running. How are all your kitties doing?

Thanks for becoming my friend
I posted on one of my reviews that I enjoyed your cat pictures. Our oldest cat has been bringing home mice to play with. I am hoping our youngest one is dispatching them all. Life with cats is always interesting.

I really enjoy KT's books,
I really enjoy KT's books, but am hesitant to read this. The whole topic of birth mothers getting their adopted children back skives me out a bit as I know a couple of people who have adopted and it seems insulting to them. What are your thoughts, is this done well enough to make that not annoy me or should I avoid it and read the next KT instead?

Cady, I feel this was written very well
and you should be okay with it. It is explained so well and works out KT style. Yes there are rough spots but adds to the book. Maybe others can add their opinions also to help you decide?

Thanks for stopping by,Cheryl

Kaelee, I am sorry, thought I had you on my friends list!
Yes,these furry babies add so much to our lives. In fact,my youngest daughter just took in a black kitten that had been given to someone who didn't care for it. So Squeaky has joined their household of 14 other cats and 3 dogs. He is adorable and bulking up thanks to her TLC,and their one female black cat,Angel(also a stray)has adopted him.

How do you keep all the fur babies happy?
when we added our 3rd kitten a few years ago our two older girls had different reactions to him. The oldest alpha cat played with him but to this day the middle cat still hisses and spits at him. Thankfully there is usually no fighting.

Considering how many we have, they get along very well
Of course we have problems with the females trying to rule over the kittens, but these 2 little spitfires have started some major hissing so they get them to back down. In fact, they are starting to play and chase alot more now,I am very thankful!
