Jermone Stankowski(Stan) is supposed to begin his honeymoon today, but his bride to be called the marriage off a few days ago. Now he has two weeks and nothing to do. His boss calls and tells him he wants him to investiigate the murder of a newspaper editor. And oh yes, he is to have a partner, from the Attorney General's office to help in this quest. His partner is Parker Noble who he has worked with in the past but who he really wasn't looking forward to working with again. Stan and Parker have a number of suspects in this case. The girl, Anna Marie was a nun and the daughter of a newspaper editor who was not liked very well. Anna Maria was killed by a car bomb in her fathers car as she left to go to an early mass. They think the bomb was intended for the father so they begin to look for anyone who might have a motive and the list is long.
I enjoyed this book, got some humor along with mystery
