The second book in the Martini Dares miniseries is about Brooke Winfield deciding that it is time for her to explore her wild side - starting with trying on a daring leather dress at Worthington, the department store she works for. What she wasn't expecting to do was to actually go in public in the barely there dress. However, that is exactly what happens when she hears a noise outside the window she's working in and opens the drapes to see a man crash his motorcycle on the wet pavement and she goes to help.
The man on the motorcycle is David Carrera, a baseball player back in Boston after leaving the Sox in the middle of the previous season. David is immediately attracted to his angel of mercy. He pursues Brooke and is able to return the favor and rescue her from an embarrassing situation stemming from her Martini Dare and a lack of adhesive.
These two characters fit together and complemented each other really well. I enjoyed this story more than the first book, which was great as well.
