The third book in the Martini Dares series finds Josephine Winfield picking up her future boss, Sebastian Stanhope, at a dive bar. Of course, she doesn't know he's her boss at the beginning. She doesn't let that stop her, though, since he won't be her boss until the new week begins, which gives them the weekend to play.
Sebastian is severely disappointed to find out the hot woman from the bar is soon to be working for him. He lets her use her skills as a lawyer to persuade him that they can enjoy each other until that actually happens. And he couldn't have been happier.
When reality intrudes Monday when they face each other at the office, they're both slightly disappointed. Lucky for them Joey's sister Brooke is armed with statistics about the success of office romances that convince Joey that she can have Sebastian.
Watching the two of them deal with each other both in the office and out, all while Joey is dealing with revelations about her mother that leave her reeling, was a lot of fun. These two are just so perfect for each other that it was great to see that they didn't let a little thing like working together get in the way.
