I almost passed on reading this book because the hero’s body on the front cover reminded me of the incredible hulk, minus green skin! However, after reading the first few pages I was hooked. I really thought Sam, was very sweet and patient with Ellie. It was enjoyable reading their story. So never judge a book by its cover alone!
My Tall Dark Greek Boss
I'd only meant to read the first chapter then head to bed. Three hours later, I placed the book on my bedside table and sighed. I loved this story...it was my second of the night. Being my first Anna Cleary book, I look forward to reading another from her if it's as heartfelt.
Both characters were realistic, outspoken yet lovable. And Sam's mum, Irene, what a darling! She's so devious in her plots I wished we all had a character like her in life.

Just a note to say I saw your reviews, you dears, and I'm absolutely thrilled. I'm so glad you like Sam and Ellie's story (despite the incredible hulk !) and yes. I think I can definitely say, Chelzie, the next one is as heartfelt!
By the way, I do hope both of you managed to find the story's little Epilogue. It was accidentally left out of the printing. If you haven't read it, you can find it on my website at www.annacleary.com, and I think they might still have it on amazon.com in the review comments section.
