What makes a family?

When Dean Robillard wished for a family as he was growing up he had no idea he would end up with a group of people around his dining room table that comprised a family, well sort of!  In his mind he was thinking "beware of what you wish for".

Blue Bailey had an unconvential childhood.  She was moved from place to place among friends of her mother's because her mother was busy saving children in hot spots around the world.  Blue has never known what it would be like to settle down in one spot, involve herself in a real relationship and fall in love.  After meeting Dean Robillard in the most unusual circumstances she remains stand offish, sarcastic, ready to flee and then learning that sometimes you have to take chances in life.

This book has a most unconvential cast of characters that are meshed together in a story that is never dull, keeps you turning the page, wondering how these people are ever going to resolve the past, learn to trust each other and learn to love.  Well done SEP.   Although this book is connected to several others it will stand alone.
