I was going to buy this book anyway because Jessica Hart wrote it, but when I read the teaser at eHarlequin.com, I was on the hunt for it at all my local bookstores.
After a disasterous love affair with a con man who destroyed her financially and emotionally, the heroine enters a marriage of convenience with the hero. She's supposed to be the perfect executive wife, which is fine for this city girl, but then the hero changes the rules by declaring that he has sold everything because he has inherited a castle in the highlands of Scotland.
The castle turns out to be in ruins, the city girl doesn't think she can handle much more of the isolation, and little by little, she discovers more about what she's made of and about the husband she slowly learns to love.
I adore this book--although I was crying near the end when one of the secondary characters dies. Overall, fantastic book. Go read it. Seriously.

I liked this book too. A lot
I liked this book too. A lot in fact. Its title does not do justice to this amazing story of heroine coming to terms with her feelings. Definitely best Jessica Hart HR so far. (well, Appointment at Altar is close contender too)
I adored this book too. I
I adored this book too. I have loved every book I have ever read by this author but thisd one, well, it just showed me how wonderful her writing style is. I am learning to ignore the titles of her books or think of them as tongue in cheek or an inside joke/smile as almost opposite what the title says, like this one.. their marriage certainly wasn't convenient.
Goodie, Appointment At the Altar is the one book by her I have but haven't read yet. I sort of like to keep a stash of unread books by favorite authors.
