No Time For Goodbye by Linwood Barclay

When Cynthia was 14, she woke up to find her home totally silent and empty. Her mother, father and older brother had all just disappeared without trace, never to be seen again. Were they abducted, murdered And if so why was she spared?  Why did they abandon her?

Twenty five years later, the mystery is still unsolved. But then Cynthis takes part in a 'cold case' re-enactment of the mystery and suddenly a letter arrives. A letter that makes no sense. Soon Cynthia begins to realise that  stirring up the past could be the worst mistake she has ever made.

A great, taut, psychological thriller. It made me want to sit up all night, keep turning the pages, to find out what had happened. A fast-paced, enjoyable read.
