Notorious Rake, Innocent Lady

I really enjoyed this book.  It's about a very feisty heroine, Julia Prentiss, who won't accept her aunt and uncle's choice for a husband for her to tie up a business arrangement, when the would-finance plans to ruin her family (she doesn't know that part yet - she just realizes he's an evil man).  She runs away, planning to find a well-known rake, and have him ruin her for the price of $15,000 pounds..  The rake, Paine Ramsden, takes her up on her business proposal, and then the excitement begins.  The would-be fiance tries just about every trick in the book to find her and Paine, who takes her home to his family to try to protect her.  It ends with the two of them being married after her fiancee, who kidnapped her, was killed by his henchman before he could kill Paine and hurt Julia.
