One Nocturne Bite, One Mini, and Two Spice Briefs
Mortal Enemy, Immortal Lover by Olivia Gates (Nocturne Bites, 2008)
My Review:
This was such a well written story! Olivia has built an amazing new paranormal world with her Eradicators. I just loved learning about them as the very passionate love story unfolded with pretty much non-stop action. It grabbed me from page one. I only hope that there will be more to read in this world. Olivia can really do no wrong no matter what genre she chooses to write in. Amazing!
Copied Blurb:
From the moment they met, Javed and Desire have shared an explosive passion. Yet Javed fears that being with Desi will put her in danger from the monsters that inhabit his world ... monsters like himself. An immortal half-vampire, half-demon with both species' powers and none of their weaknesses, even Javed may not be strong enough to save Desi from his enemies. He is determined to end their affair to protect Desi ... and to tell her the truth about himself. But Javed isn't the only one with a deadly secret. For Desi is an Eradicator, a breed of human with special powers trained from childhood to eliminate all demons. Once their true identities are revealed, will these destined enemies destroy one another--or will their love be enough to overcome an otherworldly feud centuries in the making?

Dreamer by Kate Austin (Spice Briefs, 2008)
My Review:
I didn't really care for this one.
Copied Blurb:
He had spoiled her for all other men. It would be a laughable cliche if it weren't so tragically true. But the mindblowing sex Miri had experienced in her brief encounter with Jack had invaded her dreams and filled her with unquenchable longing. And she'd lost her orgasm! Nothing she did could bring it back. Her desperate need had driven her to reckless sexual adventures with dangerous liaisons. But they all seemed unbearably tedious compared to that singular electrifying experience ... and the tormentingly delicious dreams that allowed her to relive it again and again. Her friend Heather had once told her to be careful what she wish for--she just might get it. How ironic that her one wish--that her night with Jack would never end--had come true ... but only in her dreams.

Stroke of Midnight by Julie Kistler (Harlequin Mini, 2002)
My Review:
I really enjoyed this Mini. It read really quickly, and had some very humorous moments.
Copied Blurb:
Susannah knows it's time to break off her engagement when her jerk of a fiance stands her up on the last night of the year. But dumping Carter means risking her job. Will a fantastic midnight kiss from another man convince her the risk is worth it?

Layover by Megan Hart (Spice Briefs, 2008)
My Review:
This one was great as well. Megan Hart always seems to be able to add a good amount of story to her Briefs. She also does a great job at character development with the shorter word count. Great Brief!!
Copied Blurb:
The first time she'd met him, he'd been blindfolded and at her mercy. Partnered in a trust exercise, Graham had been enticed by the allure of Julia's voice, and eagerly followed her direction to navigate a maze. But as a warm friendship developed between them, their mutual attraction remained unacknowledged. And in the long-distance e-mail relationship that followed, their reticence persisted. Until the day a cancelled flight stranded Julia in Graham's home town. Both tried to play it cool, though each had approached their dinner date with intense anticipation. But the minute they stepped into Julia's hotel room, the flood gates opened and their unfettered passion exploded. What really excited Julia, though, was that as in the trust exercise, Graham was great at taking direction. Because what really excited Graham was pleasuring Julia as no one else ever had.

I thought I would post the other three covers here, since I am unable to post them all in main post.

Tammy!!
Oooh, an almost perfect score!
Of course I'm always beyond thrilled when any of my books is received with such enthusiasm, but it's extra special this time as it's a new genre, one I've always wanted to write in, and I have been quite anxiously awaiting readers' response to my venture into the paranormal. So I'm ecstatic that there's been such a great response, and hunger for more from me in the genre, and in that universe I've created. YAY!
Thank you so much, Tammy, for such a great review.

Hey Olivia!
Hey Olivia!
I would have posted this review sooner, but I needed to have 4 to post before I did. But I will have you know, I downloaded your Bite the 1st of this month, and read it the same day. I was quite eager to see how your writing style would transfer into the paranormal genre. And I was very impressed! Your character development with the smaller word count was beyond amazing!
I read on the post you wrote at the Harlequin Paranormal Romance Blog that you had sent two proposals in for more Eradicator stories. Good news, indeed, I can't wait!
Take Care,
Tammy
P.S. I love your website revamp.
