I have read many of Lowell's contemporaries but this was my first of her historicals. This is a great story with a wonderful h/H relationship. I would highly recommend this book if you are looking for a good old-fashioned historical romance. Caleb and Willow's story will keep you up late at night reading it! It's a keeper!

This was one of the first EL books I read and I loved it and the rest of the series. I love all her early books and several of her more recent ones too. Her more recent suspense are really good but the only thing is that now she has very little romance with her suspense novels and I really like the romance added in there too.
