Leandros Petronades met Isobel and married her in a whirlwind. Within a year the marriage crashed and burned and Isobel returned to England.
Three years later Leandros wants a divorce so that he can marry a suitable woman.
Isobel arrives in Greece to negotiate the divorce settlement, wearing a tiny leather outfit, which she thought was more then suitable. All Leandros can think of is throwing the lawyers out and enjoying his wife on the conference table.
Is this divorce doomed to failure?
I absolutely adore Michele Reid, and this is one of her very best. A must read and a keeper.

Michelle Reid = yum.
The name Leandros Petronades sounds familiar, I feel like I've read a book about that LP male before, but the plot of this one doesn't sound familiar. (I think I'd remember a hero wanting to throw his wife down on the conference table)
But hey... are there issues of infidelity/adultery here? If neither CARED or the marriage meant nothing to them at the time, then other partners are fine, but I hate seeing a heroine who has to live with the hero sleeping around after dumping her, while he gets the pleasure of knowing she wasn't with other men during the separation. Rubs me the wrong way.

They lost a baby, which she thought he didn't want. They lived with his family, they hated her.
Remember about 3-4 years ago MR did a series of loosely connected books. One was an Englishman (he might have been an architect?), one a Spaniard (Think he was a gambler).
Leandros was building resorts along the coast of Spain and living on his yacht when this book begins. She's a redheaded photographer.

Great book!
Michelle writes fabulous books.
And no, there was no adultery -- though someone did try to imply to that there was.
His family wanted him to marry a nice Greek girl and were all for the divorce.
w-w-w.... that explains
w-w-w.... that explains why the name sounds familiar. I probably read one of the connected books and saw the character of Leandros.
vio.... thanks, good to know!
I'll check if this book is somewhere in TBR heaven....
