PEAK PERFORMANCE by Helen Brenna NASCAR 5/08

Can two people forge a friendship and maybe something more without changing the course of their respective dreams; a dream of being the first woman crew chief and a future as an extreme sports show host?

Payton is a mountain climber turned reporter.  He is on the hunt for a national extreme sports show when he lands a position with a Charlotte, NC local affiliate for a series of NASCAR family specials.  Rachel is an engineer with the Fulcrum Racing team and a member of one of the Murphy family, one of the most well known racing families in NASCAR and one of the families slated for a TV special.

As the two spend time together they form an attachment that neither has had up to this point in their lives.  A person each can count on when problems arise, a person who can share the joys as well as the disappointments.  But can they put their dreams on hold in order to become more than “just friends” or do they each run from their growing feelings?

Check out these two friends and see how dreams can change when least expected!

This is my first Helen Brenna and will definitely not be the last!
