The Playboy's Passionate Pursuit by Emilie Rose (SD 1817)

Janet85
Format: Print Books

Back Cover:

Sexy, wealthy daredevil Toby Haynes had bet his best friend he could seduce starry- eyed Amelia Lambert into his bed. When she left him after a single night of passion, Toby swore he would win her back— then he would be the one to walk away!

Meeting once again in Monaco had thrown Amelia back into Toby's arms. And the game of cat and mouse was on. What Toby didn't anticipate were Amelia's own captivating rules of temptation….

Favourite Scene:

Amelia took a fortifying breath. “Toby slept with me on a bet.”

“Oh, please. He’s crazy about you. And the way he looked at you when he opened his dice…” She fanned her face. “I almost had an orgasm for you.”

Another Fav Scene:

“I always swore I’d never let a woman get close enough to hurt me. I never guessed that letting the right one—you—go would hurt more. I know I acted like an ass. But if it’s not too late, please give me a chance to earn your love again.

My Review:

Pretty good couple, I think the hero/heroine were good for each other, they worked through their issues together.  The passion between them was great, I liked seeing him chase her and her fight giving in.  The hero was a little too slick with his endearments and seducing for me personally, made it a bit hard to buy the "marry me and love me forever" ending.  The heroine was special to him though, that was clear.

Rating: 3.5/5 stars, a nice light read, good chemistry.

Hi Janet

I really enjoy Emilie Rose's books. I loved her Lander brother series. A bunch of yummy cowboys. I also loved Scandalous Passions. The hero, Carter, is yummy.

Margie :)
