Playing With Fire

Belle Jamison is 24 years old and she still doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up.  She works a series of low paying jobs to pay for her father's stay at an assisted living facility.  She's working in a cafe when something is slipped into her mocha latte.  She becomes very ill.  She wakes up to find out that she has superpowers and two groups of people want to get their hands on her.  Government agent Rome  Masters tries to protect her and teach her how to use her powers.  Rome and Belle become attracted to each other and Rome is determined to save Belle from the bad guys and from herself!  This book is very funny.
