Larissa Ione kicks off her Demonica series in phenomenal fashion with PLEASURE UNBOUND. This fast paced story introduces a very vast world chock full of intriguing characters and fascinating plot twists and Larissa Ione uses every aspect to full advantage. The romance is steamy while the world itself is lush and richly developed. In fact, PLEASURE UNBOUND is the perfect blend of urban fantasy and paranormal romance.
Larissa Ione does a superb job at creating likable characters and creating tension between them. One can’t help but sympathize with both Eidolon and Tayla as they are faced with decisions that affect more than just their own desire for one another. Tayla in particular breaks my heart as she has never felt at home anywhere in her life, shuffled from foster home to foster home, and finally settling with the Aegis as an adult. Her sarcasm is hysterical but it is her determination to survive that makes her such a great heroine. She makes a great contrast with Eidolon, a man who always puts family and his oath as a doctor first.
PLEASURE UNBOUND is one of those books that hooks you from the very first page and won’t let go till the last page is turned. I have read some phenomenal books this year, but without a doubt this one easily makes my top ten. Larissa Ione has created a world and characters that makes me want more NOW. Highly recommended!

Ah, to have more time to read! I bought this one this month, and truly intended to get to it right away. Life seems so busy(good, though) right now...that I don't even know if I will be able to read the hundred books this year, like I did last year. Oh, well...at least the ones I have been reading have been fantastic! And at least it looks like the ones I have in my TBR pile look great as well, based on the reviews I have been reading

I should add...
that this book was my recommended read this month at Kwips and it definitely earned a 5! It was a great read and one I would encourage anyone who loves paranormal or urban fantasy to bump up to the top of the TBR pile!
