I read a previous book from Terri Brisbin's MacLerie series Surrender to the Highlander and really enjoyed it so I picked this one up. There appear to be two others in this series but I believe this may be the last. I really enjoyed this story. The storyline was complicated but entirely believable. Marian and Duncan are completely manipulated by Marian's brother and father and her brother continues the farce that has Marian looking like a harlot. I love Duncan's honor and understanding and how he wants to make Marian happy. Good story.
