Helen is a widow but her brother has left her near penniless and is going to sell their family home. He needs the money to cover the expenses that his wife keeps piling up. The only practical solution is to offer herself to be a mistress to Sir Jason. The deal is made. He has agreed to her plan. The only problem now is he wants to change the deal, actually break it and make her his wife.
