Pisces
"Career and love will intersect-are you ready to play?"
Experience has taught ad exec Logan Moore that office affairs always end in disaster. Which is why his online romance with Scorpio63 is exactly what he needs right now-the anonymous, steamy encounters help him forget the secret urge for Trisha he gets every day.-
Scorpio
"Today you'll clear up the mystery shrouding your love life, but will you like what you find?"
Virtual sex with Pisces47 is so sinfully good it leaves Trisha Bains hungrier for the good, old-fashioned kind with Mr. Moore, her unattainable boss. But a chance remark of his makes her think the unthinkable: could the private sex fantasies she's been indulging in now become her reality?
Favourite Line: (Logan's reaction when she accidentally calls him "Logan" during cybersex)
"Who is this?"
Favourite Scene: (Logan's reaction to his heroine surfing the net trolling for cybersex. LOL... as if he can judge! Given HE was the one she ended up having cybersex with...)
Frustration closed in on him. “I don’t understand how this happened. What were you doing on a Web site like that?”
He hadn’t meant for the comment to sound so possessive, but that was the way it came out, like a father who’d just caught his teenage daughter having sex in the back of his Chevy.
My Review:
They have been working together for two years and there's been an attraction there. Mostly on her side, I think from the hero's words/actions he didn't let himself look twice at her until the present. (I would have preferred the hero to have been attracted sooner) They meet online and strike a friendship and start having cybersex. Then at work the hero says something that makes her think he's her internet lover. Shit. She tests him next time she sees him online, and sure enough, it's her boss. She soon squeals and lets the secret out. I liked how as soon as she slipped up and said his name, he said "who is this?" into the silence. Great moment. It was also a great moment when minutes later he showed up at her home demanding explanations. Those were powerful moments. I felt a little detached from the side story of Adre and Bill, but I think that's just my personal preference to read romances with one H/h couple, rather than get my emotional investment split between two couples.
My Rating: 3.5/5 stars, had some great moments, made an interesting premise.

Hey Janet! Thanks for the nice review and I'm glad you enjoyed the book. It was fun hearing what you had to say about it. It seems as though I wrote that book a million years ago. It's still one of my favorites, and boy, I'd forgotten about some of the scenes you'd mentioned. What a fun trip down memory lane!
