The Promise of Happiness by Betty Neels
Format: Print Books
Series: Harlequin Special Releases
An enjoyable 'cinderella' story. The hero rescued her when she ran away from evil stepmother, found her a job, housing & took care of her dog & cat. The heroine'd courage, wasn't afraid to speak her mind & had a lot of patience. His declaration of his love for her was very sweet. Very satisfying HEA. NFM

Congratulations Orchid
on your 100th review. I love that it is by one of my favorite authors but it has been so long since I have read one of her books. I have such a large TBR that getting back to old favorites isn't a priorty right now.

Thanks, Kaelee
I purposely picked Betty Neel's as the milestone #. Hehehe,
because I like her books. I am working my way down the TBR, putting a little dent in that list. I still have to find time to log the books I've read earlier this year.

I hope you are enjoying your time off
You are doing a lot better than me as I have lots to review. I set a mini-challenge for myself to review 2 for every 5 Sadhbh does and I managed to do so today. who knows what will happen tomorrow.

Even though I had a up and down day I managed to post 2 reviews. Went out shopping this morning and got back to find mailman had left me 2 free books from Tell Harlequin. Was up. My sister phoned and talked for 1 1/2 hrs- good news - bad news. But can't write reviews while talking on phone. Then my husband came home and he had been in very minor fender bender- sandwiched between 2 cars- not much damage but shaken up. Was really down but forced myself to do reviews. Not my best ones but they are done.

Hey, I just step away for a little while, came back to this site (I usually don't log off), & saw your blog.
How's your dh? Any neck pain? If possible, just do a few more stretching exercise everyday, might help (I hope).
No matter what, I hope everything turns out okay for you & your sister.
Take care.

PS: I am going to copy & paste this comment of mine in your blog just in case you didn't see this one

Hi Orchid
Saw the comment on both sites. My DH has been hit so many times that he can't tell if he has new pain or just old pain from previous accidents. It sure put a bad spin on the day. I am really glad I did the reviews though as it gave me a sense of accomplishment. Not much else got done around here today though. He has to travel out of town tomorrow so will see what sitting and driving does to him. I hope to get a few things crossed off my list of to do's. I got a few crossed off of my shopping list this morning so should be able to hang around home and work.

Christa, Thank you ...
Thank you so much, Christa, you always have these fun greetings, I love them.
I especially choose this book for this milestone number because of its title, 'Happiness' is very important, & I like BN also.
Thank you for taking the time to comment on my blog.
