Dr. Kyrstle Maller is hiding out as Kasey Madigan trying to avoid an angry mob boss. She finds Zack McIntyre on her doorstep and patches him up. He went on his way, but kept showing up. Something about him attracted Kasey and she decided to take a chance with him not knowing that he was an undercover detective and was related to an entire family on the force.
Before she can make an escape Zack finds out her secret. Will he be able to save her from the past or will it tear them apart.
Enjoyed Zack and Kasey/Krystle's story. Now I have to go back and get all the other Cavanaugh books.
