Protective Instincts

I read Atticus's book first but should have read this to brush up on the characters!  This book is about Sawyer Kincaid and Melissa Teague.  The death of John Kincaid has rocked the Kincaid family and KCPD.  I had a weird sense of deja vu reading this, partly because I read the other one first and partly because the characters have been in past books but I couldn't remember them well (the result of overreading for school and quick reading for two challenges!).  I really liked Mel's mom and Benjamin and the family involvement in the book.  I'm really curious about the brother, Edward, and look forward to reading his story.
