Lucinda Oliver has just accepted a lucrative design offer only to discover that it is for Zane Alexander for whom she worked as a nanny while she was going to design school. She is further schocked to learn that the job is to remodel his home in the lovely Carribbean island of St. Lucia and that he expected her to go there to do it! Then Lucinda discovers that Zane is coming too! Will the soft island breezes be her undoing?
This is a fantasy story set in a fabulous location. The other time Lucinda was in Zane's employ she was nanny to his nephew; now she is on equal footing with him. However, when Zane takes over the care of his nephew again, Lucinda is persuaded to return to Zane's home outside London to care for little Timmy who remembers her from years before. Then when Timmy's grandmother dies, Lucinda is really torn about her feelings for Zane and Timmy and, her obligations to her job. I don't like that she gave up her company in the end. I give this book a C+.
