Well, I've never met a Patricia Veryan book that I didn't love, and this was no exception. Full of swashbuckling heros, treason, adventure and, of course romance. No one writes romance like PV (am I biased here??) I always feel as if I am visiting with friends when I look inside a Veryan novel. Not my favorite Veryan, but excellent none-the-less.
Oh, and if you hadn't noticed, yes--I'm catching up on posting last month's reads...
