Amy has come to Brazil to help out at an Amazon orphanage. Also she has come to see if she has any relatives here. She found out that her mother came from this area when it was discovered that her mother and uncle were involved in human traffic slavery. She finds here a man that has amnesia and looks sort of familar but shrugs it off, the man has been burned badly. However one day she sees him without a shirt and knows who is is. He is Micah McKnight, brother of her best friend Cassisdy, and the man that Amy's mother set up to die. Everyone thought Micah was dead, and even though he does not know why, or who he is, someone is still trying to kill him.
Enjoyed this book. I had met Amy in another book when Cassidy had come to this same place to pick up the child of friends that had died and made her the child's guardian.
