The last of the across the lines Crown & Glory series ends with the coronation of a new King. Most loose ends are tied up and questions answered as Dylan attempts to unravel the circumstances which brought Emily into his life.
I really liked Emily, however, Dylan was a little to domineering at times for me. I was pleased to see how did all he could to save Emily’s grandmother even when he felt the sting of betrayal.
I was surprised to find Prince Owen was not of royal blood and glad to see Uncle Broderick uncovered as the leader of the deadly Black Knights, but I would have liked to see a little more from the characters in this series in this final installment. All in all, while not my favorite series, it was interesting and had some great authors involved.
So, how do you all feel once you’ve completed a series? Does it give you a sense of completion or is it just another book in the TBR? For me, it’s one more series I can check of as complete
