The Samms Agenda by Alison Kent

The third book in the SG-5 series finds Julian Samms on a mission to Florida to save Peter Deacon's former girlfriend, Katrina Flurry, escape her home before a Spectra hitman can kill her. Though Julian is usually a serious man, Katrina brings out a lighter side of him. Though he fights his attraction to her, she tests that resolve when they find themselves stranded in a motel and she proposes a dangerous game of cards.

It was very enjoyable to watch Katrina and Julian figure out how to deal with each other. The other surprises provided by Spectra IT only add spice to their story. I definitely liked it.
