Scorned by the Boss by Maureen Child

This was a quick, hot read about a boss realizing just how important his secretary truly is - to him as well as his business.

Jefferson Lyon of Lyon Shipping  was not used to losing and was spurred into action when his secretary, Caitlyn, quit after he demands she give up her planned vacation since it is no longer her honeymoon. Caitlyn denies she has feelings for Jefferson when her ex-fiance lists that as the reason for his breaking off their engagement. Only she recognizes the truth of the accusation as Jefferson follows her on her vacation with plans to seduce her in order to guilt her into returning to work as his secretary.

Neither of them expected the feelings which emerge during the seduction. However, a wrench is thrown into their relationship when Caitlyn finds out about Jefferson's real reason for following her.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the way of the unemotional shipping tycoon eventually succumbed to his feelings for Caitlyn. Her attempts at turning the tables on him were fun to read and the ending, as always, was satisfying.
