Scot on the Rocks

I like Chick Lit.  In fact, I've just tried my hand at my very own Chick Lit novel (which I hope someday you might get the opportunity to read).  I love a book that can make me laugh out loud, then pretend not to cry.  When I started with "Scot on the Rocks", I have to admit that I was a little skeptical.  She seemed to be trying too hard.  She was too self-deprecating, and threw out more than her share of "Oh, come on.  As if you wouldn't have done that ..."  But I got used to Brooke and ended up liking her despite myself. *****SPOILER*****  Yes, I laughed out loud, but no, I never cried.  That's okay, though.  I knew Jack was the right guy, of course.  How could he not be?  And I was very relieved when he finally returned.  He's a doll.  Any man who can help a woman (who he is secretly in love with) shoe shop is a truly great man.
