While this the 2nd book in this series, it was the first I’ve read. The blurb above makes it sound like Mei is hugely pregnant when he arrives, but that is not the case. They haven’t been estranged all that long and the pregnancy comes to light after the book starts.
Mei and Travis have quite a bit to overcome to reconcile and I thought the situations were handled realistically.
I enjoyed the story and little Isabel too.
