Secret Agent Affair (SRS May 08)

The Doctors Pulaski.

This is a series about five sisters who all become doctors. Their parents are emigrants from Poland and arrive in the USA with only their hard work ethic to support them. The father becomes a cop and often works a second job and their mother often works two jobs as well. Each sister has worked as well as going to school and they are mutually supportive of each other and their younger sisters. It is set in a fictional hospital, Patience Memorial in New York City. In the first book the three older sisters are sharing an apartment and car and as the series moves along the younger sisters come to share the same apartment. This series is written by Marie Ferrarella who is one of my favorite authors.

Book 5: Dr. Marja Pulaski hits Kane Donnelly with her sister’s car but when she goes to check on him she finds out that he has been shot. He refuses to go to the hospital for treatment so she takes him home to the apartment to fix him up. Special Forces FBI agent is on a case and does not need his cover blown so when they meet again he is serving as an orderly in her hospital but really has no time to spend with her as he is on the job while he is working at the hospital.

This is a great conclusion to the series.  Again suspense and romance are mixed with a flare. A great read.

HI Kaelee - What's the correct order?

I think I've a few of these in the TBR, but they're scattered around so could you remind me of the right order?

I've been reading Marie's Cavanaugh series so I could just change family names and keep going

I've been doing quite a lot of ebook reading this week too, thanks to Kathy (kalyko)

Now I really need to start thinking about doing some blogging, which is why I'm procrastinating in here LOL

Dream Team 2008 Challenge blogs
No more excuses, just READ!

Sadhbh are you trying to get me posting reviews again?

I must admit the mini challenge I set for myself in September worked to clear up my then current backlog but I'm up to ten again and just need to get going on it. Then there are the books I read before I started in the challenge-I may never get to them.  Christa says she posts her reviews as she reads  but sometimes I just want to read. She lent me 3 of Kelly Hunter's books and I have read two of them.  I haven't read Sleeping Partner yet.  Anyhow the order is as below I hope you enjoy them if you do read them. They actually helped me out a reading slump not that you ever suffer from that.

  1. Her Lawman on Call--Feb 07
  2. Diagnosis: Danger--Apr 07
  3. Her Sworn Portector--Dec 07
  4. A Doctor's Secret--Mar 08
  5. Secret Agent Affair--May 08

we seemed to be missing one another through the week. We celebrated 9 birthdays and one new baby. There was 3 chocolate cakes for the kids birthdays and angel food cupcakes for the adults . The hardest part was singing happy birthday to everyone. But the kids just loved to light the candles and blow them out. The adults only get 3 candles each so some of the cupcakes got lit up more than once and all the non birthday kids (5) got to blow out the candles. Fun time for all of us. We may be getting together for Canadian Thanksgiving on this next  Sunday but not sure.

Hope you have been keeping well.

Oh!  What a wonderful time!  Thanks for sharing.  Are you hoarse from singing? Smile

Christa just gave me a step-by-step instructions in how to put this images:

So, enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend.

I saw the instructions Orchid

Congratulations on getting them to work. Christa sure can guide a person through some tricky things. Monday is our Thanksgiving day and then Tuesday we get to vote. I saw a cute sign the other day. All black with white lettering . It said Just Vote Damn It!  A sentiment I really endorse.

So, there will be no chance of running out of conversation topics at the thanksgiving gathering. Wink
