This was
an excellent summer read. Emily Porter is constantly trying to keep her
mother happy and out of her business. She satisfies her mother’s need to be
involved by making up little white lies about her personal life. But when one
of her fibs leads her to the man of her dreams, fate steps in and deals her a
sweet card. Unfortunately, her happiness is sweet-lived, as her husband dies
suddenly. Alone in an isolated cottage by the sea, Emily starts to feel her
husband’s presence, and soon she realizes she isn’t alone in the cottage after
all…
